Honeymoon Travels & Photoblog // New York 2017

So I may mostly photograph brides and grooms, couples, newborns and families myself, however 18.05.17 I myself was a bride! I married my lovely husband, Scott. As you may have seen previously on this blog - we got engaged in 2014 in New York, and chose to return to this amazing city for our honeymoon. There’s just something about waking up to a busy City, knowing that we can walk out of the Hotel and into chaos, walking and getting the subway to an array of adventures, just going where the wind takes us!

From returning to Central Park Lake to take it in turns to row, with the aim of not playing “bumper boats” with others (stay tuned for the cute Racoon we saw, by the water’s edge!), to going back to Rockefeller Centre’s Observation Deck, where we got engaged in May 2014, for the exact date’s anniversary in May 2017, to eating our way through the city like human pacman (or pacmen?!), walking from Crazy Shake bar’s - Scott found this amazing place (you have to visit The Black Tap, 136 W 55th St, New York, NY 10019!) The Black Tap, we just had the best time ever and I loved coming back and documenting the City differently to last time (see my first trip’s blog).

Whilst in New York we also heard about the horrible Manchester attack at the Ariana Grande concert. It was all over the news in the America too, and below within the photographs you will see the Empire State Building lighting up in blue, white and red, in tribute and support to Manchester. I hope you’ll also look through the photographs and see travel, and a newleywed’s journey to Springtime honeymoon adventures.

A selection of these images will be available to purchase in my print shop shortly.
